Electra, the most dominant female in the cohort, is named after Amelia Earhart's famous plane. This captive condor, like Amelia, is bold and adventurous. She stands up to the other condors in her cohort to get what she wants to prepare for an amazing journey. Unlike Amelia, however, Electra achieves this by taking food from her follow condors to prepare for flight in the wild. We expect the gutsy Electra to fly far around the Central Californian Coast.
